Correctness

I have measured values 20, 40 and 60 for Cybran Hive Non-Upgrade, 1 Upgrade and 2 Upgrades (assuming T2-Engineer has a value of 10) in SCFA. I have done this by building structures and comparing ressource drainage individually. Double-checked it with calculating speed up for build time and proofed values to be correct by observation.

Example:
Mass Storage takes 25 sec in-game time for T2-Engineer to build (with build rate 10). With full updated Cybran Hive (with build rate 60) we have a speed up of 7 = Both(60 + 10) / OneAlone(10). Building should therefor take 3.6 sec = 25 sec / 7 of in-game time. I have observed a buildtime of around 3 sec.

Assuming full updated Cybran Hive had a build rate of 45, than speed up would be 5 = Both(45 + 10) / OneAlone(10) and build should take 4.5 sec = 25 sec / 5.5.

Better Example:
T3 Upgrage takes 210 sec in-game time for T2 Factory to build (with build rate 40). With full updated Cybran Hive (with build rate 60) we have a speed up of 2.5 = Both(60 + 40) / OneAlone(40). Building should therefor take 84 sec = 210 sec / 2.5 of in-game time. I have observed a buildtime of around 84 sec. Not 99 sec = 210 sec / ( Both(45 + 40) / OneAlone(40) )

So i will add my values to the table.

This page still needs the build rate of shields (which can upgrade themselves) and sonar platforms.

Capture versus reclaim

Is it faster to reclaim or capture an enemy unit? It would be nice if the math was spelled out somewhere on this wiki. Jasonnorthrup (talk) 04:31, April 17, 2014 (UTC)
